No money for lessons?
Would your child like to take lessons with us but tuition fees are a problem? The Jeugdfonds Sport & 
Cultuur Amsterdam helps! The fund is there for people on benefits, for freelancers with too few assignments or
if you have money worries as a result of the coronacrisis. The fund pays tuition fees for children and young
people between 0 and 18 years old.
How does it work?
As a parent, you can apply to the Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur Amsterdam yourself if you are in possession of a
valid City Pass.
You can do so via this application form aanmeldformulier. No City Pass? Then an
intermediary can do the application for you,
for example the teacher, someone from the social district team, the community sports coach, debt assistance or
someone from youth care.
He or she knows the rules of the game and whether your child is eligible. If the application is approved, your
child can often start lessons within three weeks.
What is the amount?
The Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur determines the amount based on the amount of the tuition fee and any necessary
equipment. After approval of the application, the contribution is paid directly to the teacher. If necessary, you
can also borrow an instrument through us.
